Another Portland area support group for transsexuals is Trans-Port (no web site currently available).

The Portland chapter of PFLAG (Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) also supports transgendered kin. Many local events, including the Portland Pride Parade march, are documented at the Portland Gay Community directory.

The major TG convention in the Northwest is Esprit, held each May in Port Angeles, Washington.

Advocacy:
Devoted to human rights issues, It's Time Oregon advocates for Transsexuals and Transgendered. A more broad-based rights organization is Basic Rights Oregon.
